Welcome to Stand Creek Photography! Photography is more than just a business for me—it's something I truly love. I'm drawn to the beauty found in the world around us, from the peaceful outdoor landscapes to the energy and character of everyday people and life.

As a photographer, I'm always looking for those little moments that catch my eye. I especially love working with natural light and seeing how it can completely transform a scene. For me, photography is about more than simply taking a picture. It's about noticing the beauty in a moment and creating an image that brings back that feeling every time you look at it.

How did I come up with the name Stand Creek?

This is probably the question I'm asked the most!

The name Stand Creek was inspired by something very close to my heart—my family's love of hiking and the outdoors.

Whenever we're hiking, we're naturally drawn to those peaceful little moments when we come across a creek or wander through a "stand" of aspen trees. I've always been fascinated by how their roots are interconnected beneath, allowing them to support and draw strength from one another. There's just something about being surrounded by nature that makes us slow down, breathe a little deeper, and simply enjoy where we are.
